Election Processes

With a strong track record in fielding teams of 3-50+ long- and short-term election observers for OSCE missions on behalf of FCO, we have increasingly become involved in areas of work such as voter education and development of local monitoring capacity.

Recent election monitoring missions for FCO include:

Kyrgyz Republic, June 2010: Referendum, one Long Term Observer (LTO)

Georgia, May 2010: Municipal, two Long Term Observers (LTOs) and four Short Term Observers (STOs)

Tajikistan, February 2010: Parliamentary, two LTOs and eight STOs

Kyrgyz Republic, July 2009: Presidential, two LTOs and 10 STOs

Moldova, July 2009: Early Parliamentary, two LTOs and six STOs

Moldova, April 2009: Parliamentary, two LTOs and 20 STOs

Belarus, September 2008: Parliamentary, four LTOs and 30 STOs

Russia, December 2007: Parliamentary elections, OSCE subsequently withdrew

Kyrgyz Republic, December 2007: Parliamentary elections, two LTOs and 20 STOs

Uzbekistan, October 2007: Presidential election, one LTO

Moldova, June 2007: Parliamentary elections, one LTO and 16 STOs

Tajikistan, November 2006: Presidential Elections, one LTO and 10 STOs

Georgia, October 2006: Municipal elections, two LTOs

Latvia, September 2006: Parliamentary elections, One LTO

Belarus, March 2006: Presidential Elections, four LTOS and 40 STOs

Azerbaijan, May 2006: Re-run Parliamentary elections, one LTO

Kazakhstan, December 2005: Presidential elections, four LTOs and 40 STOs.

Azerbaijan, November 2005: Parliamentary elections, three LTOs and 50 STOs.

Kyrgyz Republic, July 2005: Presidential elections, three LTOs and 30 STOs

Kyrgyz Republic, March 2005: Parliamentary elections (2 rounds), three LTOs and 20 STOs.

Russia, March 2004: Presidential, six LTOs and 40 STOs.
